I purchased Roadster for my better half because I love to smell him in it. I think of this as his “power” scent, telling him to wear it when he has an important meeting. Funny thing is that I have never worn it myself so I thought I would give it a spin. Unfortunately, as much as I love it on him, I didn’t find wearing it myself so appealing. Don’t get me wrong though, this is a great fragrance.
Roadster goes on with a fresh blast of mint. This is not a super green mint, but one that’s more tailored. It has a spicy edge that makes is smooth and masculine. Roadster has a wonderfully commanding presence that runs the line between being green yet warm. And to boot, it has great sillage and is long-lasting. Perfect for when you need to wear a “power” scent!
Roadster Notes: Bergamot, Spearmint, Peppermint, Cashmere Wood, Patchouli, Cistus Labdanum, Vanilla
- Bone Rating: 4 out of 5 possible bones
- Scent Type: Aromatic – Fougere
- Classification: Masculine

I just like the idea of having a Cartier in my collection. I went for Declaration though. This clearly needs a sniff,

Now I haven’t tried Declaration. I guess we both need to do some more sniffing 🙂

I’n not a huge mint fan in fragrance, I hate to admit how much I love Lush’s Dirty EDT, but it is one of my fav summer fragrances. The mint in Herba Fresca gross’s me a little bit and Menthe Fraiche is just ok, a literal clean mint. Haven’t tried the Cartier I will admit, not too up my alley by the sounds of it but interesting!

Before this scent, I don’t think I have ever paid much attention to scents with mint in them. I may have to though because it does make sense that it woudl be great for summer wear.

Be sure to try my suggestions. As I said Dirty is probably my favourite.
Mint for me has to be completely non-cologne-y.
I love Dirty’s stale chewing gum and salty vibe.
