ByBozo Date in Paris

WHAT I SMELL:  Date in Paris opens with an infusion of herb and citrus that is very unexpected and incredibly unique.  But In quick manner the perfume moves to the sea with a salty aquatic note that becomes the central character.  Slowly, a soft floral note of heliotrope seems to drift right below the aquatics which gives the perfume the sensation of salt infused lipstick.  It’s an interesting twist combining the refinement of beauty with the earthy qualities of the salty sea.  As it continues on, Date in Paris starts to warm and radiate with the florals seemingly being replaced by a putty like cedar.  But as soon as I say that the perfume transitions to more of a powdered finish that begins to rise in a crescendo.  A Date in Paris is a modern perfume that makes for a uniquely beautiful wear.

From the ByBozo website:

This Date you’ll never forget. It’s like a blessed aftertaste following the meeting with beloved one. Here you can experience the whole range of feelings: delight, timidity, romantic mood and unlimited happiness.

The first note of the scent is bitter orange, so called part of the “sensual” mixtures. A date should leave only pleasant memories in your memory, so rosemary was given a softening role. Rosemary gives a slightly sweet woody-resinous flavor, which makes the fragrance multifaceted and warm from the first minute of acquaintance.

Intense plum reveals on the skin in an amazing way: it is mysterious and seductive at the same time. Combined with a balsamic floral accord of heliotrope, the fragrance becomes truly unique! Iris captivates secretly, but irrevocably. To give the composition ” spaciousness” and a special flavor, the creators added seaweed, which led to a magical result of freshness, coolness and delicacy at the same time.

The role of an aphrodisiac on this date was given to the soft velvety White oud. Like a light ghost, the balanced addition of cedar and moss envelops its owner with a thick resinous sound.

The Scent is an impression. From the first breath he deliberately leaves behind a breathtaking “deep” sillage of mysterious magic.

ByBozo Eternal Rainbow

WHAT I SMELL:  Eternal Rainbow opens with a brush of color with soft florals highlighted by a light rose tinged with blackberries that is soon met with a juicy grapefruit and warm citrus.  While that sounds like there is a lot going on, the perfume blends like a breeze.  And the opening is so wonderfully pretty and inviting with a wonderful depth and warmth that carries you in.  There’s a cottony lightness that bounces upon the fruit which seems to buzz with brightened energy without bursting forward as it tames its enthusiasm.  As Eternal Rainbow begins to settle, the florals remain, but the berries seem to dissipate as the grapefruit holds it own along with just a touch of herbs.  Here, the perfume resides in it’s own universe…not on the ground and not to the sky as if it shimmers in citrus and floral pink hued sweetness that lives in the background in the most beautiful of way.  The perfumes remains in this realm for quite some time before it retreats into a quiet vetiver topped with a light cottony musk.

From the ByBozo website:

Elusive Red flowers, juicy grapefruit, vetiver, laurel, topped with blackberries. A spectre of harmony. Clear, but elusive, gentle, ethereal. A pure rainbow will envelop you in its wing, giving lightness and inspiration. But if you want to see it, you can’t. Eternal Rainbow keeps its opening and middle notes secrets, creating a sense of intrigue upon first meeting. Want to catch it? Then what are you waiting for? Do it! And it’ll fly here and there, with its delicate colours shimmering.

Notes:  Vetiver, Laurel, Grapefruit, Floral notes, Blackberry

WHAT IT SMELLS LIKE TO ME:  The perfume was named perfectly…Eternal Rainbow.

ByBozo Rival in Love

WHAT I SMELL:  Rival in Love opens with a lightly sweetened blood orange that’s quickly met with a juicy, ripe and enticing lychee.  It’s so incredibly intoxicating in the softest of ways as there’s nothing sharp here as the perfume just lilts upon the skin with a light and soft sheath of cottony musk.  After a bit, the sweetened and soft opening moves to the more round with a lightly peppered rose making it’s entrance.  Where the opening was light and demure, the perfume is now more mature and seductive.  Here, the perfume begins to radiate and amplify, but never in a way that shouts.  As Rival in Love continues its progression, a patchouli enters grounding the florals with a buzzing woodiness.  Here, the perfume seems to be in conflict as you can tell that the patchouli is being buffered by something else that is trying to get out on top of it.  As the perfume finishes its internal fight, a sweetened vanilla and lychee come out to make the perfume the perfect mix of innocence and seductive maturity.   Rival in Love is one “love” of a perfume.

From the ByBozo website:

ByBozo Rival in Love. What next? A seductive scent of sexual energy. This is what passion smells of! It doesn’t hesitate to reveal all its emotions, so varied… Gentle and aggressive, Rival in Love opens with a sharp tango of blood orange and lychee. But in its heart dances a rose and an elegant jasmine, separated by a clove. This is a fight! The firey rain leaves behind the jealous patchouli, but it’s calmed by gentle vanilla What next?

Top Notes:  Blood orange, Lychee

Middle Notes:  Rose, Jasmine, Pepper

Base Notes:  Vanilla, Patchouli, Benzoin

WHAT IT SMELLS LIKE TO ME:  A fight for love that ends in the most beautiful of ways.

THREE WORDS THAT DESCRIBE RIVAL IN LOVE:  subtle, enticing, engaging

WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING ABOUT RIVAL IN LOVE:  None found.

BOTTOM LINE:  Rival in Love is my first venture into the ByBozo line of perfumes and it’s a fantastic first foray.  The perfume is so well blended and is sheer and yet bold at the same time.  And for those of you who believe that bottle is just as important or as nearly as important as the perfume, ByBozo delivers with a fantastic weighty bottle and magnetic cap.
