WHAT I SMELL: Angel Muse goes on the skin all sweet, nutty and über creamy; it lies on your skin as if was applied like butter to toast. The perfume is sweet, but not sugary; instead it’s more gourmand. As the perfume develops, that creamy nutty buttery concoction moves to the less creamy, but the projection begins to grow and with it the patchouli comes front and center with a pulsating rhythm of brown sugar and vetiver which helps to keep the perfume from going full on sweet. As it continues to develop, a tonka and vanilla note comes forward which helps to give the perfume some needed depth. In the end, the perfume resides in a warmed cocoon of semi sweet-comfort and ultimately after many hours, Angel Muse ends up feeling like a comfy musky vanilla pillow. But best of all Angel Muse is a bright and happy scent and that’s sure to make you smile.

Love their ad copy – “Get ready to lose your mind!” Okay! This sounds pretty intense, and likely not for me but it was a fun read and I got a kick out of your Full House pic. 🙂

LOL. I’m not sure if the perfume will make you “lose your mind”…a pretty bold statement for sure and actually pretty bad ad copy. But it’s rather nice 🙂

Nice review and you may have guessed that this one is for me. I’m a proud owner of a 30 mL bottle 🙂 anx that is plenty!

Hmm. I really am not very partial to Angel, but this sounds really interesting… I’ll probably try to make myself a little sample of this to see if I can get on the Mugler bandwagon. Speaking of which – have you tried Dis Moi? I’m fascinated by the strong milk note, but haven’t found many that have tried it.

I have not tried Dis Moi and I never hear anything about it. It actually sounds lovely and creamy.

I really liked the spirit of your review and plan to test this perfume as soon as I see it at a store. If it’s half what you’ve described, I’ll probably invite it to join the rest of the Angel family in my collection.

LOL. Thankfully its a perfume that you should easily be able to find. Sometimes, finding these elusive brands can be a bit tiring can’t it?

Yeah, that’s why I rarely do it recently. But with Mugler you’re right, I don’t think it’ll be a problem – though, I think, I managed to miss a couple of masculine special editions – first they weren’t at the store yet, and then they were gone already.

I’m dying to try this -I’m 90% sure I will love it. Thanks for that review! Lol Full House – I can’t take Mugler perfumes seriously but I can’t quit them either so to me that seems the perfect treatment.

The few times I wore it, it really did feel like a comfy sweatshirt…I’m surprised that I didn’t add leggings to the ensemble!

Hello TSH. I’m so happy you reviewed this. Loved the pic. Like Hajusuri above I bought the 30ml so will review soon / ish. And I’m finally sampling Rendezvous from DSH that you reviewed a while back that made me really want to try it. It really is gorgeous and not as overbearing as you might think from the notes. So thank you x

It’s not overbearing at all… although I would recommend like all Muglers to go easy on the spritzing…on and Rendezvous…so fantastic!!! 🙂

I despise the original Angel, but the Angel Muse sounds nice. I’ll try it! you don’t mention any patchouli bombs in the review so I think it’s safe!

I didn’t think of this as a patch bomb…but it probably could be if you didn’t apply it sparingly. I really was surprised at how much I liked it. Not a huge original Angel fan myself.
