I still haven’t gotten back to speed since getting back from vacation. Besides fighting 2 days of jet lag and then moving right into the busiest 2 weeks of the year at work; getting back into my regular blogger groove has been impossible. Thanks to the New York Times, I could bypass getting back to my regular musings to provide a link to a great article about Denyse Beaulieu and her book “The Perfume Lover: A Personal History of Scent.” As an added bonus, The Scented Hound as well as other bloggers (The Candy Perfume Boy, Perfume Posse and Bois de Jasmin) are cited and hyperlinked along with some other perfume resources. Cute dog photos are easy to find 🙂 As for being sick, the last few days of rain and warm weather have exploded the pollen and I am now popping Allegra like Milk Duds. Getting old is hell!

Get some rest, sweetpea. One doesn’t travel halfway around the world and trapse through numerous diff. African reserves from the wee hours of the morning, and then just pop right back into one’s usual schedule back home. No-one expects anything from you other than more wonderful, glorious photos at some point later down the line! I hope the next two weeks at work go as smoothly as possible.
